10am - 1pm

I hope you’ll join me for this very special Barn Workshop! Today, we will be learning all things DOUGHY - biscuits, scones (savory + sweet), pie/tart/galette dough + cheese coins!

I love getting my hands doughy! And, I love having these delicious goodies stocked in my freezer for those last minute meals and parties! These types of dough are so versatile. They can be used for breakfasts, dinners, cocktail parties, sweet or savory applications, and can filled or topped with just about anything imaginable!

Our Workshop classes differ a bit from a typical Barn class. We will stay in the kitchen, where we will have plenty of festive nibbles + sips, but you will take home frozen goodies that we’ve made, ready to pop in the oven for this season’s company or visitors: 1 dz. biscuits, 1 dz. each sweet and savory scones, 1 log cheese coins, 4 pie dough discs.

  • sadly, I am unable to offer gluten or dairy-free options for this workshop

  • please be aware of the Barn’s cancellation policies before signing up

cooking classes + creative workshops

+ Cooking classes and creative workshops are always small, hands-on, laid-back, focus on what’s in season, and culminate with a festive, shared meal.

+ Once purchased, your class or workshop tuition is non-refundable, but you may have someone attend in your place if you are unable to attend.

+ If the class or workshop must be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of the Barn, you will have the choice of scheduling a new class or workshop or receiving a complete refund.

+ The Barn is surrounded by hills, grassy areas, rocks, and changes in elevation. Please dress appropriately, comfortable footwear and an extra layer of warmth is recommended.

+ Not responsible for personal injury or accidents while on the Barn property.

+ Update COVID 2021:  Please be aware that during a class at the Barn we will be in close proximity to each other for 4 hours, first around the kitchen island and then the dining table.  I highly recommend that if you or anyone in your group is at all in a high risk category or have not been vaccinated, that they DO NOT attend.  Because we are eating and drinking the entire time, masks are not a realistic option. In the event that we need to cancel as we near because of a Covid-related situation on my end or yours, I will do my best to do so with at least 7 days notice and I ask that you do the same.
