Our French Trip Series, Part One: Provence
We hope you’ll join us for the first class in our three part series celebrating the cities/regions we visited and all of the things we learned, ate and drank over the two weeks Team Barn + La Poste spent in France this Winter!
First up, Provence! Awww Provence. Many of you have been there and you know it is simply heaven. Visiting this stunning place in the winter was surely different than being there with the crowds, the heat. Even though we may have missed some of the most beautiful summer produce and the warm evenings having apéro on the terrace….we had the coziest apartment with a roaring fireplace. The markets were still thriving each day in each different village and were overflowing with gorgeous citrus, artichokes, cheeses, olives, cured meats, and sparkling seafood.
We not only had many spectacular lunches out, but we dug into gooey cheeses each evening at the house and drank so many wines that were simply out of this world!! We hope you’ll join us so we can share the stories, the recipes, and the memories we made in Provence.
We will cook together in the kitchen and then enjoy a cozy lunch of what we’ve prepared in the Barn’s dining room.
During today’s class + lunch, La Poste + the Barn’s resident Beverage Babe, Abby Powell, will teach us all about the beautiful styles of wine found here.
